Ive no stand whatsoever to marijuana or weed or any other recreational drug
since ive yet to try any of it, but hey this video is awesome.

is much more complex, and have you the interest please do some research and let me know.

Hold my hand

This might possibly be the most beautiful song Ive ever heard to date. Growing up, Ive spent my first years of school in United Nations International School in New York. These few years may well be my most cherished years growing up overseas because of the ideal racial harmony I was immersed in. Im not talking about the half-truth "racial harmony" thats over-publicized in Malaysia. Im talking about being in a classroom with kids from Australia, China, India, Uganda, Russia, Japan, Korea, England, America and all the other countries in the world.

Did we know what race was? Well yeah we knew we came from different countries, but we didnt know why the word existed. All we knew were that we were friends. My best friend was a kid named Brett from Zimbabwe.

You always see children of different races holding hands either in paintings, or in world-peace events. Its because children want harmony. They want to befriend everyone. Now tell me how come adults of different races aren't ever depicted holding hands. (or very rarely since it should be somewhere out there)

Hold my hand - Maher Zain

Some key lyrics in the song that struck a chord with me:

...Now we share the same bright sun,
The same round moon
Why don’t we share the same love
Tell me why not...

...Hold My Hand my friend
We can save the good spirit of me and you
For another chance
And let’s pray for a beautiful world
A beautiful world
I share with you...

...No matter how far I might be
I’m always gonna be your neighbor

There’s only one small planet where to be
So I’m always gonna be your neighbor...

We are such idiots... part 2

I mean yeah in some countries French fries and potato chips
have replaced just about anything healthy.

Making om-nom-noms

When peeling potatoes one must apply the unilateral leg elevation
for balance and precise torsion angle. Like so:
Yes. This is how a true PRO peels potatoes.

Pathology spotter : aspergilloma in a potato

4kilograms of india's finest tuber.

This is why my potato-holding hand is gloved. To protect myself against the sheer
extreme intensity of the potato peeling art. Don't try this at home kids.

Add a few secret ingredients...

And... If u dnt know what omnomnom is then this video is the most
important thing u'll have ever seen in your life:

"Why me not get royalties on this?"

Kick in the head

Jamaican philosophy

Well here's one thing the dude was wrong about:
Listen to certain music after certain events and it can definitely amplify the hurt.
But here's something he was right about:

Rejected. *sigh*

Ok, moving on.

Her Morning Elegance

A song my mother shared with me. I mightve passed this song if it werent for the creative music video. Anyway, I just love the carefree tune. Basically it sounds like a mumbling slur of a barely audible drunk in sleep. But its cool like that. ^^

Her Morning Elegance - Oren Lavie

We are such idiots

Why does the Easter bunny carry eggs? Rabbits don't lay eggs.

Sleep is a bitch

Sleep is definately a person. Why? Only mankind can be this cruel.
Sleep, in my self-made personification of you I shall mock you back!

Look at you, dark satisfaction in your smirk. You revel in my torture.
Glee fills your breast. Proud, silently proud that I insult you.
No, my insult to you is but tribute! A token of your accomplishment.
To your ears you hear only an ode to your importance.

I seek you. Effortlessly you avoid. You taunt me, your fingers beckoning.
Come you say. Come, you are weary. In my arms you shall rest.

But no. Your embrace is but apparition! Tendrils of smoke. Enticing but half-real.
I lay down only to fall.. to stumble. My eyes close, you choose to vanish.
I hear you snicker. Oh, Sleep! As clear as my torment, you are but clearer to me.

Tonight you deny me your escape.

Only to pounce on an unwilling me come daylight.

Fixed Rapture

Suffocate, I envelope you

Struggle, you are bound

Awaken, your dream is real

The heart driven to panic
is it danger the body warns?
Doubt says the soul
curious and unsatisfied

Hestitate. Pull away
Distance is unchanged

Rage. Madness becomes you.
Blind, you plunge

Find what astounds you
shock, you are breathless
Feel, ponder.
Soft is the embrace

Breathe me in, sweetest poison
Restrained, but oh! You are free
Exhilarate in your rapture
Forever stay, you belong

Leave. Freedom, it is yours
Realize it not
The chained one is me
And you the captor.

Almost lover

I know its lame to just keep posting videos on ur blog but heck, I just heard this song and its rly nice.

Almost lover - A Fine Frenzy

I dont believe that anybody feels the way I do, about you now~ *wink*
**lyric from Wonderwall-Oasis

Certain people develop claustrophobia, be it in lifts or crowded shopping malls. I would pity the ones who have to drive on the roads of Bangalore. Here, space isn't a privilege nor an attainable commodity if i can call it that. Its an absolute free for all. In saying so, its accepted to squeeze in between motorists and brush up against them through the everyday affair of reaching college or work.
However, by no means should it be okay to run over a person's foot with your car tire!
So it happened this morning I received a pleasant surprise from a carefree lady driver who must have not seen my lower right appendage (or me at all for that matter) as she nearly rammed straight into my bike as well.

Prior to the punishment my right foot endured, she managed to ram into another person on scooter too. I glared at her as she apparently passed unnoticingly. My anger satisfied by angry shouts of other motorists who witnessed the incident, I chose not to make a scene - late as I was to class. XD

Story told with sand

My mother shared with me this video that I believe everyone must see.
its truly beautiful.

Of self love

I remembered once our community medicine lecturer told me something I actually found interesting to hear (for once). He asked us who it is that we admire. Who we see as a role model. A person we look up to. After a few people gave out names of famous heros, prime ministers and esteemed professionals, he came out with a simple sentence.

"It is not them that we admire, in fact it is ourselves." He said. After a brief pause with an answering silence he went on "We only admire these people because we are able to see ourselves in them."

I suppose we covet that which is not ours, and most know this to be true. But materialistic scopes arent all. We covet even the character of others that we wish we ourselves had. We admire others only for our hopes of being as good as them, to have what they have. Our want is endless, and our self love has no limiting depth. Is it admiration, or is it an envy? A jealous obsession that bears the semblance of goal reaching and improvement?

Perhaps his opinion is not truth. Perhaps it is not self-love. Perhaps it is. We've such a capacity for greed and self-importance. True. Yet we've an equal capacity for compassion. Compassion and empathy of a self-less kind. I pray it is the latter not the former that we gravitate our lives on.
